- Upload
edit-author-slugfolder to your WordPress plugins directory (typically ‘wp-content/plugins’) - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to Users > Your Profile, or Users > All Users > (username), and edit the author slug.
- Click “Update Profile” or “Update User”
- Go to Settings > Edit Author Slug to edit settings
- Click “Save Changes”
